Siops Balacania
Maria Christina Balacania or “Siops” has been part of the Business Process Industry (BPO) since 2001. Her experiences in being a 411 operator to taking calls from US customers to responding to emails to provide customer service, to selling online yellow pages, to being a debt collector all led her to Training and Development, earning her more than 15 years of experience. She is a Toastmasters Competent Communicator Norm Achiever and a Certified Professional Facilitator of DDI (Development Dimensions International), all of which helped her teach courses in leadership and coaching. She is also an expert in creating and facilitating courses and workshops on Soft Skills (Essential Skills), Email Comms/Business Writing, Basic Grammar, Customer Service, and US, UK, AU/NZ culture and geography. When she’s not wearing her trainer hat, Siops is an introvert, she enjoys time nerding out to anything history, art, literature, and interior design.
