1. Registration and Payment

1.1 Registration is confirmed upon full payment on the NextUp website through our available payment methods: credit/debit card, GCash, Maya, or QRPh. No onsite payment in cash will be accepted.

1.2. All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the event of cancellation by NextUp PH.

1.3. Each class has limited slots for a more hands-on experience. The slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Additional slots are not guaranteed.

1.4. Failure to attend the class does not entitle the learner to a refund, unless otherwise approved by NextUp PH under exceptional circumstances.

2. Classes and Cancellation

2.1. Unless otherwise indicated on the class page, all classes are held onsite at Comuna bldg., Pablo Ocampo St., Makati. The location will be on the second floor (NextUp) or the third floor (Cruxbl) depending on the information stated in pre-class communication.

2.2. NextUp PH reserves the right to cancel classes under the following circumstances:

  1. Force majeure, including, but not limited to natural disasters, fire, epidemic, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, industrial action, or any other similar events.
  2. Exceptional circumstances affecting the mentor;
  3. Failure to meet class quota (80% of maximum class size) for specific classes

2.3. All classes are posted in advance on our website calendar and social media along with their details for registration. For learners, classes will begin promptly at their scheduled time. Latecomers will be given a grace period only at the discretion of their mentor.

2.4. Rescheduling classes is at the discretion of NextUp PH. If a learner informs the team in advance, a request to move their slot to the next available date will be evaluated within 24 hours, but no refund will be issued unless there is a full cancellation.

3. Participation and Code of Conduct

3.1. Upon registration, the learner is responsible for ensuring that they are committed to attending the course/class in its entirety. The learner should be qualified to enroll based on prerequisites as stated. The learner agrees to bring materials as deemed necessary by the mentor in the pre-class email.

3.2. All learners agree to maintain respectful, inclusive, and professional behavior in all of their interactions with fellow learners, organizers, and mentors inside and outside the classroom.

3.3 Any form of harassment, discrimination, hate speech, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. NextUp PH reserves the right to revoke access to the learner who violates the code of conduct without a refund and will be banned from joining any of NextUp PH’s classes and events in the future.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1. Unauthorized recording, screen capturing, reproduction, or distribution of any part of the course is strictly prohibited unless prior written permission is granted by NextUp PH. For social media purposes, please inform the staff in advance.

4.2. All class content, including but not limited to presentations, materials, frameworks, exercises, and discussions, remain the intellectual property of NextUp PH and its mentors.

4.3. Learners may use information and materials for personal and educational purposes only. Any form of reproduction, redistribution, commercial use, or misrepresentation of ownership of class materials is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from NextUp PH and its mentors.

5. Data Privacy and Consent

5.1. By enrolling, learners voluntarily consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal information (such as name, email address, and contact details) strictly for internal coordination, communication, documentation, and reporting purposes by NextUp PH.

5.2. Learners acknowledge and agree that screenshots, recordings, photos, or documentation materials may be taken during the workshop and may be used by NextUp for archival, educational, and promotional purposes online or offline.

5.3. NextUp PH commits to handling personal data in accordance with applicable data privacy laws and ethical standards.

6. Amendments

6.1. NextUp PH reserves the right to modify course and class details, schedules, or policies when necessary, with notice to learners.
