Class The Artist

How To Make It as a Freelance Writer: The Prerequisites

By Angel Martinez
1 Session (1 of 3)
April 17, 2026
5:00-7:00PM
2F Comuna bldg, 238 Pablo Ocampo Sr. Ext, Makati City, 1203, Metro Manila

Are you a beginner whose work remains confined to journal pages and private Google Docs? Or maybe you’re a returning writer who wants to start putting your work out there again.

In this session, Angel breaks down where and how writers can publish today—and what you need to prepare before pitching. Participants will leave with a clear sense of the kind of work they want to produce, how to build sustainable writing habits, and assembling a portfolio or pitch deck that makes editors take them seriously.

Classes may be taken separately (PHP 1500) or as a part of the whole course (PHP 4300).
