Poet Mookie Katigbak-Lacuesta explores tone as a key strategy to shape a poem’s emotional register. Play with your lines and discover your attitude in poetry through varying tones of irony, sincerity, ambiguity, and understatement in the first of the Strategies in Poetry series.
